The challenge of this project was to renew the visual identity of a heritage footwear house without diluting the essence that made it. Malin 1884 carries more than a century of craft, so the mark could not simply look new, it had to carry weight, memory, and authority. The work translated the brand's craftsmanship, its obsession with detail, and its commitment to fine materials into a system that feels both timeless and contemporary. The result is a brand that keeps the prestige earned over generations while standing firmly in the present.
The identity was built to flex. A horizontal lockup serves digital applications, email signatures, website headers, and wide institutional layouts, while a vertical version holds its strength in compact, distinctive spaces; seals, social profiles, and product marks. Using both strategically guarantees maximum adaptability and a consistent, unmistakable presence in every context.
Every decision reinforces the same idea: durability and refinement are not opposites but the same promise. Malin 1884 is no longer only a name on a shoe; it is a symbol of lasting quality, an identity that carries its history forward without ever standing still.
The brand was crafted to remain timeless, avoiding trends while maintaining relevance across generations of students and educators.
